Next-Gen Li Auto L6 Launches in July with Refined Design and Larger Battery

On June 16, Li Auto's product line head announced that the new-generation Li Auto L6 will make its official debut in July. The vehicle was already listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 407th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" in May 2024. The new model retains the brand’s signature full-width light bar design but replaces the previous front bumper’s integrated full-width styling with a larger lower grille. It features semi-recessed door handles and new wheel designs. At the rear, the taillights receive a blacked-out treatment, and the license plate mounting position has been moved upward. The vehicle measures 4,935 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,735 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm—identical to the current model. Powertrain-wise, it continues to use a 1.5-liter turbocharged range extender, with the engine delivering a maximum output of 113 kW, and upgrades the battery capacity to 51 kWh.
