Wey Gaoshan 7 SUV Launches with Raised Suspension, New AWD Mode, and 206 km CLTC Electric Range

Great Wall Motor's Wey brand has officially launched the Gao Shan 7 SUV variant. The vehicle features a raised chassis—30 mm higher than the standard Gao Shan 7—with a minimum ground clearance of 185 mm. The official retail price is RMB 285,800, with a limited-time promotional price of RMB 270,800. Measuring 5,149 mm long, 2,005 mm wide, and 1,925 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,085 mm, the SUV version is 99 mm longer, 45 mm wider, and 25 mm taller than the standard Gao Shan 7, while maintaining the same wheelbase. These enhancements primarily improve interior lateral space and trunk cargo capacity. Exterior color options include Deep Space Black, Yunjin White, and Yuanshan Gray, while interior trims are available in Moya Black, Cloud White, and Rosy Orange. The design features a "Waterfall Boundary-Breaking" front fascia and "Bamboo Stream" rear light signature. Powering the vehicle is the Hi4 Performance intelligent hybrid all-wheel-drive system, delivering a maximum system output of 337 kW and peak torque of 644 N·m, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 5.7 seconds. It is equipped with a 44.28 kWh (1C) battery, offering a CLTC pure-electric range of 206 km and a WLTC pure-electric range of 172 km. Combined ranges reach 1,135 km (CLTC) and 945 km (WLTC). The SUV adds an AWD driving mode and features a rear full-aluminum five-link independent suspension with agile steering functionality, achieving a turning radius of just 5.6 meters. For intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with the Coffee Pilot 3 advanced driver-assistance system, supporting "door-to-door" assisted driving across nationwide road scenarios. Capabilities include U-turns at intersections, barrier gate navigation, turn-lane waiting recognition, internal road traversal, roundabout handling, and obstacle circumnavigation. Additionally, it features a fully integrated parking assistance system supporting over 200 parking space types, 100-meter reverse tracking, remote parking, and 3-kilometer memory parking.
