On June 16, Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi, reposted a video featuring Sergei Sinkins—a World DanceSport Federation judge famously nicknamed "Mr. Ferrari"—performing a dance routine alongside the Xiaomi YU7 GT. In the video, Sinkins treats the YU7 GT as his dance partner, choreographing movements that harmonize with the vehicle’s body lines and driving dynamics. During the performance, he calls out to Xiao Ai (Xiaomi’s voice assistant) to play “The Lei Jun March,” which Xiao Ai accurately recognizes and promptly plays as background music. The Xiaomi YU7 GT was officially launched on May 21, positioned as a “sports-car-grade SUV.” It is equipped with the new-generation V8s EVO super motor, with a base price of RMB 389,900 and a fully loaded version priced at RMB 429,900. The vehicle delivers a maximum output of 1,003 horsepower (738 kW), achieves a CLTC range of 705 km, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.92 seconds, and has a top speed of 300 km/h. It features a 101.7 kWh ternary lithium battery pack built on an 897V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, supporting ultra-fast charging that can replenish up to 570 km of range in just 15 minutes.
