Jetour Auto will host its "2nd Fanghezi Conference & New Product Launch Event" on June 26, officially unveiling the Jetour Freedom 7 PLUS and the updated Shanhai T1 4WD variant. Both models feature a blacked-out front fascia with darkened headlights and grille, conventional door handles, an externally mounted rear-mounted "spare tire-style" storage box (nicknamed "little backpack"), and blacked-out taillights. Inside, the vehicles adopt a new steering wheel design while retaining the large floating center touchscreen, a central gear shifter, and physical toggle buttons. The layout of controls on the center console has also been optimized for improved ergonomics. Under the hood, the new models offer two turbocharged engine options: a 1.5T producing 135 kW (181 hp) and a 2.0T delivering 187 kW (251 hp). Both are paired with Jetour’s XWD fully automatic intelligent four-wheel-drive system and an intelligent crawl mode. Additionally, the current Shanhai T1 is also available as a 1.5T plug-in hybrid. The single-motor PHEV variant delivers a combined output of 265 kW (355 hp), while the dual-motor version produces 440 kW (590 hp). CLTC-rated all-electric range options include 100 km, 147 km, 150 km, 220 km, and 226 km across different trims.
