On June 16, a collision involving a new-energy vehicle occurred on a highway in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Viral online videos showed the vehicle colliding while overtaking in the leftmost lane, after which it disintegrated and burst into flames. Following public attention, speculation circulated online identifying the vehicle as either the "Zhijie S7" or the "Wenjie SU7." In response, Harmony Intelligent Mobility issued a statement on June 17 clarifying that, after verification, the vehicle involved in the accident was not one of its models. The company also urged relevant platforms to correct the misinformation and reminded the public not to believe or spread rumors. As of now, no official police report on the incident has been released, and some netizens have questioned whether the widely shared video was AI-generated or digitally fabricated.
