XPeng P7 Sets 1:07.26 Lap Record as Fastest Sub-$50K Sedan at Beijing Goldenport Circuit

The XPeng P7 recorded a lap time of 1 minute and 7.26 seconds at Beijing Yiche Jingang Circuit, making it the fastest sedan under RMB 500,000 in that price segment at the track. Officially launched on August 27, 2025, the P7 is available in three configurations—820 km Ultra Long Range, 750 km High-Performance Ultra, and 702 km Long Range Ultra—as well as a special Peng Wing Edition, with prices ranging from RMB 219,800 to RMB 301,800. All variants come standard with an 800V high-voltage architecture and 5C battery cells. The dual-motor version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. The vehicle measures 5,017 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,407 mm in height, with a ground clearance of 142 mm. It rides on 20-inch wheels fitted with 245 mm-wide front tires and 275 mm-wide rear tires, delivering a width-to-height ratio of 1.40, a length-to-height ratio of 3.57, and a wheel-to-height ratio of 0.52. The L113 dimension reaches 628 mm, and the car boasts an aerodynamic drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.201 (tested at 120 km/h). Exterior highlights include the XMART FACE front fascia design, featuring an integrated flush illuminated logo, concealed millimeter-wave radar, a floating license plate bracket, frameless side mirrors, a floating roof, a large liftback tailgate, and an ultra-slim electric rear spoiler. Additional details include Quantum badging, welcome lighting carpets, and blue-accented rear light clusters. The body paint uses BASF’s Parrot Paint, offered in six exterior colors: Starlight Green, Starry Dusk Purple, Stellar Blue, Rhythmic Yellow, Crescent Silver, and Micro-Star Gray. Interior color options include Deep Space Gray, Cosmic Gray, and Planet Purple.
