Dongfeng Yipai M8 Features Full-Exchange Fresh Air System with MOFs Filter

Dongfeng Yipai M8 has unveiled its "Full Air Exchange System," which integrates a dedicated in-vehicle air conditioning unit with a purification filter utilizing MOFs (Metal-Organic Frameworks) material. This system offers temperature control, air purification, ventilation, and moisture-resistant antibacterial functions. The MOFs-based filter employs a material hailed as the core achievement behind the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, achieving nearly 100% removal efficiency against continuously emitted in-cabin pollutants. With a service life of 12 to 24 months, it significantly outperforms conventional filters. The MOFs material features a reversible "adsorption–desorption" property, enabling regeneration and restoration of its purification capability under specific conditions. Currently, China has achieved room-temperature, solvent-free mass production of MOFs materials, paving the way for large-scale civilian applications. The vehicle made its global debut on May 23, 2024. Measuring over 5 meters in length with a wheelbase exceeding 3 meters, it is available in both battery-electric and range-extended variants. It comes standard with Huawei's Qiankun Technology Suite, comprising six key components: Qiankun ADS 5 Pro intelligent driving system, HarmonySpace 5.2 smart cockpit powered by HarmonyOS, Qiankun Cloud, Qiankun Vehicle Control, WhaleFin communication technology, and the HUAWEI SOUND 21-speaker audio system.
