NIO ES9 Nears 10,000 Deliveries Within a Month of Launch; Pricing, Specs, and Delivery Plan Revealed

Following its official launch on May 27, the NIO ES9 commenced nationwide initial deliveries on May 28 and announced on June 17 that it is poised to reach the milestone of 10,000 units delivered. The vehicle’s purchase price ranges from RMB 498,000 to RMB 628,000, while the Battery as a Service (BaaS) option lowers the price range to between RMB 390,000 and RMB 520,000. Models featuring the aisle-seat layout are scheduled to begin deliveries in mid-July. In terms of exterior design, the ES9 adopts NIO’s latest family design language, including the SharkNose front fascia and dual-layer ultra-clear crystal daytime running lights. It is available in seven body colors, including the newly introduced Dawn Gold. The intelligent driving assistance system is equipped with three LiDAR units, the AQUILA Super Sensing System, 31 high-performance perception sensors, the Shenni NX9031 chip, and NIO World Model (NWM), enabling omnidirectional, all-weather environmental perception. Inside, the cabin features an enveloping cockpit design, a 15.6-inch AMOLED floating central touchscreen, the SkyOS·Tianshu full-domain vehicle operating system, and the NT.cedar Cedar intelligent system. NOMI Intelligence 4.0 supports mixed Chinese-English speech input and recognizes multiple regional dialects. The rear seating configuration mirrors that of the ET9, offering a smart executive center console, Zero-Gravity Executive Seats, 20-point mechanical foot massage, two dedicated 16-inch executive screens, and an in-car video conferencing system. Powering the ES9 is a full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, combining an induction asynchronous motor and a permanent magnet synchronous motor for a combined output of 520 kW and 700 N·m of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 4.3 seconds. The battery pack uses CATL’s 102 kWh cells, offering three CLTC range variants: 620 km, 600 km, and 580 km.
