Leapmotor announced on June 18, 2026, that its cumulative global deliveries have reached 1.5 million units. The company delivered its one-millionth to 1.5-millionth vehicles in just eight months. Since delivering its first vehicle in June 2019, Leapmotor has steadily accelerated its delivery pace: reaching 500,000 cumulative deliveries by October 2024, one million by October 2025, and 1.5 million by June 2026. In May 2026, Leapmotor delivered over 80,000 vehicles globally. From January to May 2026, it delivered more than 260,000 vehicles, ranking first among China’s new energy vehicle (NEV) startups. During the same period, its overseas exports exceeded 20,000 units in May and totaled over 75,000 units from January to May—also leading all NEV startups. To date, Leapmotor’s business spans more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, supported by a network of over 2,000 sales and service outlets. Its international operations have achieved annual profitability, with a market share exceeding 30% in Italy’s all-electric vehicle segment. The company plans to advance dual manufacturing footprints in Europe and Southeast Asia. According to its Q1 2026 financial report, Leapmotor delivered 110,155 vehicles globally during the quarter, including 40,901 units exported overseas—both figures ranking first among Chinese NEV startups. Revenue reached RMB 10.82 billion, up 8.0% year-over-year, marking a record high for the same period. Gross margin stood at 9.4%, down from 14.9% in Q1 2025 and 15.0% in Q4 2025, primarily due to shifts in product mix and reduced strategic partnership-related business. Net loss widened to RMB 3.9 billion, compared to RMB 1.3 billion in the same period of 2025.
