On June 18, Bentley launched the mid-cycle refresh of its new Flying Spur in the Chinese market, offering four variants with an official manufacturer's suggested retail price ranging from RMB 3.209 million to RMB 4.036 million. The updated model discontinues the pure internal combustion engine version entirely, now uniformly equipped across all trims with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain. The standard, Azure, and S trims deliver a combined output of 680 horsepower and 930 N·m of torque, while the Speed and Mulliner trims boost performance to 782 horsepower and 1,000 N·m. Power is channeled through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission paired with an active all-wheel-drive system. Exterior updates include monolithic matrix LED headlights, replacing the previous split dual-round headlight design—marking Bentley’s first use of a single-unit headlight configuration on a four-door sedan since 1962. The front fender vents have been removed, the trunk lid’s rear surface has been refined, and the car features redesigned taillights along with a body-colored license plate surround. A new exclusive paint color, "Yunshi Qing" (Cloud Stone Green), is introduced, and the Azure and S trims offer optional 22-inch bespoke wheels. Performance-wise, the S trim accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 308 km/h, while the Speed and Mulliner trims achieve the same sprint in just 3.5 seconds. For the first time, the Flying Spur is equipped with an electronic limited-slip differential and Bentley’s high-performance active chassis, which integrates dual-valve adaptive dampers, full-range torque vectoring, a 48V active anti-roll control system, and a next-generation electronic stability program. Inside, the cabin retains numerous physical buttons accented with chrome trim. The central infotainment screen features a rotating mechanism that, when retracted, reveals a wood veneer panel flanked by three analog dials.
