According to J.D. Power’s “2026 China Purchase Experience Index (PXI) Study,” NIO ranked first among both premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brands and domestic NEV brands with a score of 827. The study shows that the overall customer experience score for NEVs was 811, higher than the 798 scored by traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. Among them, premium NEV brands averaged 811 points, while premium ICE brands averaged 788 points. NIO’s score also surpassed Land Rover—the top-ranked premium ICE brand with 815 points—making NIO the highest-scoring luxury brand overall in terms of customer experience. In May 2026, NIO delivered a total of 37,705 new vehicles, an increase of 62.3% year-over-year. Deliveries included 20,013 units under the NIO brand, 12,029 units under the ONVO brand, and 5,663 units under the Firefly brand.
