On June 18, the Aito M9 achieved a cumulative delivery milestone of over 290,000 units across all variants. The all-new Aito M9 was officially launched on May 27, with a starting price of RMB 479,800, and nationwide deliveries began in mid-June. The new vehicle is equipped with more than 40 sensors, including six LiDAR units: three forward-facing LiDARs (including an 896-line dual-optical-path LiDAR with self-cleaning capability), plus solid-state LiDARs on each side and at the rear, enabling full 360-degree coverage with no blind spots. This setup can detect "ghost incursions" (sudden pedestrian or vehicle appearances from blind zones) and low-profile obstacles. Additionally, it features a 4D millimeter-wave radar, forming Huawei’s proprietary perception system defined as “surpassing human vision.” In terms of safety, the vehicle debuts Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5.0 intelligent driving system and the comprehensive Collision Avoidance 5.0 system, offering active safety protection across all scenarios and in all weather conditions. Powertrain options include both extended-range and pure electric variants: the extended-range version delivers a pure-electric range of 335 km and supports 800V high-voltage fast charging, while the pure electric version offers over 650 km of range. The top-trim model combines a 2.0T engine with three electric motors, producing a combined output exceeding 900 horsepower, and includes premium features such as rotating seats and an intelligent starlight panoramic roof.
