On June 20, BAIC Off-Road officially launched its "Joyful Off-Roading 5+" user ecosystem, encompassing five key dimensions: bases, clubs, events, services, and vehicle modifications. Three themed bases have already been established in Ya’an (Sichuan), Chicheng (Hebei), and Badong (Hubei), and are now open free of charge to vehicle owners. Two additional bases—in Changzhi (Shanxi) and Lianyungang (Jiangsu)—are scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year. Furthermore, BAIC Off-Road will invest RMB 10 million in cash subsidies and collaborate with 20 local cultural and tourism organizations to jointly develop this ecosystem. Simultaneously unveiled were two official modification kits for the BJ40: 1. The “Everest Mountain Realm” co-created user modification kit, designed for the BJ40 Extended-Range model, features Himalayan-inspired decals, an Everest-exclusive emblem, a 20-inch spare tire cover, triple LED roof spotlights, a roof platform, and a multifunctional mounting board. The “Snow Line” six-piece set is priced at RMB 8,800 for its launch offer, while the “Ice Peak” ten-piece set launches at RMB 16,000. 2. The “Crystal Knight” official modification kit, tailored for the BJ40 Explorer variant, includes a white-and-beige dual-tone wrap, Donghai Crystal emblems, and retro perforated alloy wheels. Priced at RMB 1,999, this kit is limited to 888 units.
