On June 20, Dongfeng Nissan announced that cumulative deliveries of its midsize new-energy SUV, the Nissan NX8, have surpassed 10,000 units. The 10,000th vehicle was delivered to Momenta’s Global Chief Strategy Officer, Tuo Yue. The NX8 officially launched on April 8 with a starting price of RMB 149,900. The NX8 measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,917 mm. It features a 95-liter front trunk and a 773-liter rear cargo space. The rear seat backrest reclines to 133 degrees, and the entire cabin offers 40-point SPA-grade massage functionality. The vehicle is equipped with a 25-speaker Dolby Atmos surround sound system and a dual-zone refrigerator capable of temperature control from -6°C to 55°C. In terms of intelligent driving, the NX8 utilizes an advanced driver-assistance solution provided by Momenta. The Max trim includes a LiDAR sensor and supports highway Navigation on Autopilot (NOA), urban NOA, and full-scenario intelligent parking assistance. For powertrain options, the range-extended version is powered by a 1.5T engine producing a maximum output of 109 kW, paired with a drive motor delivering peak power of 195 kW. It comes with either a 37.4 kWh or 43.2 kWh battery pack from CATL, offering CLTC-rated all-electric ranges of 150 km and 310 km, respectively. The all-electric variant is available in two power configurations, with motor outputs of 215 kW and 250 kW, respectively. Both are equipped with CATL lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries of 73 kWh or 81 kWh capacity, achieving CLTC all-electric ranges of 580 km and 650 km. Built on an 800V high-voltage architecture, the battery can be fast-charged from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes.
