As of June 22, NIO has deployed a total of 8,996 battery swap and charging stations nationwide, including 3,923 battery swap stations and 5,073 charging stations. On that day, NIO added one new battery swap station and one ultra-fast charging station in Luopu, Panyu District, Guangzhou. The company also operates 29,225 proprietary charging piles—nearly 30,000—and has integrated access to over 1.517 million third-party charging piles. Cumulative battery swaps by users have surpassed 110 million. Along expressways, NIO has installed 1,043 battery swap stations, covering 87 self-driving "Power Up" routes. Battery swaps can be completed within minutes at swap stations, while charging stations are equipped with ultra-fast chargers to meet diverse energy replenishment needs. NIO plans to continue expanding its network of stations in urban areas and along highway corridors to reduce the distance users need to travel to find charging or swapping facilities.
