Beijing will conduct the first allocation of 2024 ordinary small passenger vehicle (gasoline-powered) license quotas on Friday, June 26. A total of 10,000 quotas will be allocated in this round. According to the annual quota plan, Beijing has set aside a total of 20,000 ordinary gasoline vehicle quotas for 2024—of which 19,200 are combined quotas for families and individuals, allocated through a unified lottery pool, and 800 are reserved for organizations, allocated through a separate lottery. The city will distribute these ordinary small passenger vehicle quotas in two rounds this year, on June 26 and December 26, with 10,000 quotas allocated in each round.
