Li Auto officially unveiled its all-new Li L8 at 8 p.m. on June 23. The new model is offered in two variants—Ultra and Livis—and features a revised seating layout, shifting from the previous six-seat configuration to five seats, along with an overall increase in vehicle dimensions. The all-new L8 is equipped with an 800V active suspension system, a full-by-wire chassis, dual-chamber dual-valve CDC dampers, steer-by-wire technology, and rear-wheel steering, enhancing driving dynamics while maintaining its hallmark family-oriented comfort. Specifically, the L8 Livis adopts a side-rear-facing LiDAR setup, while the L8 Ultra features a by-wire "Magic Carpet" chassis and a next-generation dual-chamber dual-valve air suspension system. The new L8 shares identical specifications with the recently launched Li L9. On the previous day, Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Li Auto, stated on social media that the industry is entering a phase he described as “Put Up or Shut Up—Go Live to Prove It,” where real-world performance becomes the benchmark. He also revealed that the all-new L8 has already undergone mountain road and track testing by multiple media outlets. The current L8 is priced between RMB 321,800 and RMB 379,800, and market attention is now focused on the final pricing of the new model following its significant configuration upgrades.
