The all-new Li Auto L8 will officially debut on June 23, offered in Ultra and Livis trims. On June 22, Li Auto released details on exterior and interior customization options for the model, including body colors, interior color schemes, and wheel designs. Production of the new vehicle will commence based on the order-locking sequence following its launch. Measuring 5,135 mm long, 2,000 mm wide, and 1,800 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,045 mm, the L8 features tandem zero-gravity seats equipped with 55° reclining backrests, “Magic Carpet” seat cushions, and zero-pressure leg rests. Powering the vehicle is a 72.7 kWh 5C extended-range battery, delivering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 430 km, fuel consumption of 6.2 L/100 km, and a combined range of up to 1,670 km. According to Tang Huayin, Head of Li Auto’s BEV Product Line, official real-world testing recorded an urban all-electric range of 439.7 km—achieving a 102% range attainment rate. The entire test lasted 10 hours and 42 minutes, with an average energy consumption of 14.9 kWh per 100 km. Tang noted that traffic congestion during the test slightly impacted performance, but overall results were highly satisfactory.
