The BYD Denza N8L Flash Charge Edition launched on June 23, available in two variants: the Deluxe version (RMB 319,800) and the Flagship version (RMB 349,800). Customers who sign a purchase contract before July 31 can enjoy up to RMB 53,000 worth of optional equipment credits, with deliveries commencing the same evening. The vehicle is equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery. In its plug-in hybrid Flash Charge configuration, it delivers a pure-electric range of 430 km. According to the manufacturer, it features “5-minute quick charging and 9-minute full charging” capability, with only a 3-minute increase in charging time even at temperatures as low as -30°C. The N8L debuts globally with a next-generation AI-powered intelligent cabin and is equipped with the "God’s Eye" 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system. Built upon the Yi.San.Fang intelligent vehicle control platform, it supports extreme steering, compass U-turns, intelligent crab-walking, Yi.San.Fang parking assistance, enhanced stability on slippery surfaces, and intelligent parking safety fallback functions. Under the hood, the N8L features a 2.0T super hybrid powertrain capable of 0–100 km/h acceleration in the 3-second range. It also comes with the Cloud Ride-A intelligent air suspension system, which includes dual-chamber air springs, continuously variable damping shock absorbers, Intelligent Road Preview 2.0, and smart ride-height adjustment. The interior adopts a six-seat layout, featuring Nappa Cloud Comfort Seats, ultra-suede cloud-soft headliners, second-row entertainment screens, and Sky Audio sound channels. Additionally, the vehicle supports the “DiDiXia” Super AI Agent, capable of understanding and executing complex multi-step commands, seamlessly integrating with smartphone ecosystems to enable user-intent-based vehicle control.
