The all-new Li Auto L8 has officially launched, offered in two variants: Ultra and Livis. The Ultra version carries an official manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of RMB 369,800, with an introductory limited-time offer price of RMB 359,800. It comes standard with a steer-by-wire Magic Carpet chassis and rear-wheel steering, achieving a turning radius of just 5.1 meters. The Livis variant is priced at RMB 429,800 (MSRP), with a limited-time offer price of RMB 419,800, and features standard 800V fully active suspension and an EMB (Electro-Mechanical Brake) steer-by-wire braking system, delivering a chassis response time of under 100 milliseconds. The new L8 measures 5,135 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,045 mm. It is the industry’s first five-seat SUV to come standard with four zero-gravity seats across the entire vehicle. The second row features a connected dual zero-gravity seat design, equipped with 55° reclining backrests, extendable Magic Carpet seat cushions, and zero-pressure leg rests. The standard seat cushion length is 525 mm, extendable to 562 mm, while the leg rest extends up to 420 mm. Standard second-row legroom measures 970 mm, expanding to 1,300 mm when the zero-gravity mode is activated. Under the hood, the L8 is powered by a 72.7 kWh 5C extended-range battery, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 430 km, a fuel consumption of 6.2 liters per 100 km, and a combined range of up to 1,670 km. The “five-link adjustable Magic Carpet seat cushion” used in the seats is a proprietary patented technology developed in-house by Li Auto.
