Former Dongfeng Honda Engine Executive Guo Zhenfu Under Investigation

Guo Zhenfu, former member of the Party Committee and Executive Vice General Manager of Dongfeng Honda Engine Co., Ltd., is currently under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group stationed at Dongfeng Motor Corporation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Supervisory Commission (NSC), as well as by the Pingdingshan Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervisory Commission of Henan Province, on suspicion of serious violations of discipline and law. Guo began his career in the automotive industry in 1989. He previously served as Director of the Final Assembly Shop, Manager of the Procurement Department, Manager of the Finance Department, and First Vice General Manager of Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. From 2001 to 2011, he was General Manager and Party Secretary of Zhengzhou Nissan. Between 2011 and 2015, he served as Vice General Manager of Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd., concurrently holding the position of General Manager of Zhengzhou Nissan. In May 2015, Guo was transferred to Dongfeng Honda Engine Co., Ltd. as General Manager, later becoming a member of the company’s Party Committee and Executive Vice General Manager. In March 2016, he left the Dongfeng system and joined Haima Automobile Group Co., Ltd. as Vice President. Dongfeng Honda Engine Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Honda Motor Co., Ltd., primarily engaged in engine manufacturing and supplying complete vehicle components. Its operations cover critical areas such as procurement, project collaboration, and supply chain management. In recent years, Dongfeng Motor Corporation has continuously strengthened its efforts in promoting Party integrity, upholding clean governance, and combating corruption, implementing routine oversight over key positions within its subsidiaries and joint ventures, with particular focus on high-risk areas including procurement, supply chain management, and project operations. The current disciplinary review and supervisory investigation into Guo Zhenfu is part of these ongoing, regulation-compliant measures carried out by discipline inspection and supervision authorities.
