WEY Gaoshan and Lanshan Models Receive OTA Updates Enhancing ADAS, Smart Cabin, and Active Safety

WEY has recently rolled out a new OTA update for its Gaoshan and Lanshan models, covering the 2025 Gaoshan, 2025 Lanshan, and 2026 Lanshan variants—but excluding the 2023 models. This upgrade introduces multiple new features across driver assistance, intelligent cockpit, and active safety systems. For shared functionalities, both models’ NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) system now supports ETC toll passage, automatic entry into waiting zones, recognition of reversible lanes, and three-point U-turn maneuvers. The in-vehicle app store also adds the Cheyu Audio-Visual app, integrating TikTok and Qishui Entertainment modules, with support for displaying 1/3-sized playback lists. Lanshan-exclusive upgrades include: - AES (Emergency Steering Assist), which actively steers to avoid collisions when AEB alone cannot prevent impact; - Traffic light countdown display during cruise control—even without navigation activated; - A customizable 3D central display interface allowing personalization of vehicle wraps, decals, paint colors, and more, along with a new quick-access control panel; - Optimized rear-seat screen controls, supporting automatic shutdown upon locking the vehicle and obstacle avoidance when doors open; - Mic-free karaoke functionality; - Addition of Tencent Video to the app store; - Enhanced smartphone connectivity, including flexible address handoff via ICCOA Carlink for OPPO and vivo devices, and one-tap Bluetooth pairing for Apple CarPlay; - Electric side steps that can remain deployed after locking the vehicle; - Adjustable font size in the UI for improved accessibility for visually impaired and elderly users. Gaoshan-exclusive upgrades include: - Two new Auto Hold modes—Comfort and Intelligent—for enhanced driving experience; - A new all-wheel-drive mode to improve off-road capability in challenging terrain; - An AI Vehicle Assistant that provides step-by-step guidance during emergencies such as collisions or blowouts, and automatically compiles trip data including mileage, charging records, and cost summaries; - Refined backlight logic for interior buttons, ensuring they remain illuminated at night even when position lights are turned off.
