On June 25, Lothar Schuppert, Head of Zeekr Europe, stated that Zeekr vehicles match traditional luxury brands in terms of quality and performance. Less than six months after entering the European market, Zeekr has already launched four models: the Zeekr X, Zeekr 7X, Zeekr 001 Touring, and Zeekr 007 GT. As it has not yet established a dealer network, Zeekr is currently prioritizing the corporate fleet market, targeting companies that currently use vehicles from other luxury brands. As its presence in the corporate segment expands, interest from private customers is also growing. Zeekr has already opened 10 test-drive centers in Germany and has received hundreds of orders from private customers. By the end of 2024, Zeekr plans to cover five major metropolitan areas in Germany, establishing sales outlets in Hamburg, the Düsseldorf and Cologne region, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Munich, with Berlin also considered a potential location. When recruiting dealer partners, Zeekr will focus on dealers of luxury brands such as BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, and Maserati, as well as Volvo and Polestar dealers—both fellow brands under Geely Group. Regarding local production, Schuppert noted that manufacturing in Europe remains a strategic option, but there is currently no urgent need for it.
