Starting today, SAIC Audi is progressively rolling out the AUDI OS 1.3.0 system update for the Audi E5 Sportback. Following the upgrade, the vehicle’s collision safety performance in scenarios involving adjacent vehicles cutting in improves by fivefold, while performance in handling unreasonable lane changes, unintended braking, and urban driving takeovers all doubles. This update introduces a large model based on reinforcement learning, significantly enhancing the intelligent driving assistance system’s real-time response capabilities in complex traffic conditions. When the same Baidu Maps account is logged in on both the vehicle’s infotainment system and the user’s smartphone, routes planned on the phone can be synced to the car with a single tap, enabling seamless synchronization of destinations, route planning, and navigation. During reversing maneuvers involving frequent gear shifts, the “temporary rear-view” function of the digital rearview mirrors will remain active without exiting. Additionally, when the “Launch Control” feature is activated, a new auto-pop-up option is now available. The update also includes optimizations to the detailed operation guide, the layout of traffic light countdown timers in the head-up display, and the interface design of the camera and photo gallery functions.
