Leapmotor D99 Launches at RMB 249,800–319,800, Offering Both Range-Extended and BEV Versions

Leapmotor D99 officially launched on June 25, with prices ranging from RMB 249,800 to RMB 319,800. As the first MPV built on Leapmotor’s D platform, the D99 is available in both extended-range and all-electric variants and is scheduled for phased deliveries starting July 20. Extended-range models include: - 480 Deluxe (RMB 249,800) - 480 Smart Deluxe (RMB 279,800) - 480 Flagship (RMB 309,800) All-electric models include: - 700 Deluxe (RMB 259,800) - 700 Smart Deluxe (RMB 289,800) - 700 Flagship (RMB 319,800) Exterior-wise, the D99 offers five paint options: Photon White, Liquid Silver, Horizon Blue, Sky Gray, and Metallic Black. It features a bullet-shaped design, split million-pixel DLP projection headlights, flush door handles, and a full-width taillight that integrates seamlessly with the rear window. The vehicle also includes ISD intelligent interactive lighting technology. The D99 measures 5,280 mm long, 1,995 mm wide, and 1,900 mm tall (1,880 mm for certain variants), with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. Inside, the cabin is equipped with an integrated cockpit-domain central control system and an on-device large-model-powered intelligent cockpit. It supports multiple seating configurations: - First and second rows can be fully reclined into a flat bed - Third row folds flat at 180 degrees to form a bed - Second and third rows can be combined into a continuous flat bed Additionally, the third-row seats feature a “fishing seat” mode and can all be folded completely flat. The extended-range variant is built on an 800V high-voltage extended-range platform, featuring a dual-motor AWD system, CTC (Cell-to-Chassis) battery-integrated chassis technology, and an 80.3 kWh battery pack. The all-electric version adopts a full-stack 1,000V triple-electric system and is powered by CATL’s 115 kWh super hybrid cells. Seat upholstery uses full-grain semi-aniline top-layer leather. The second row features dual 124° zero-gravity rotating airline-style seats with 3D wraparound heating, heated leg rests and armrests, dual side tables, ventilation, and 10-point massage functionality. The third-row seats offer dual-zone (cushion and backrest) heating, electric flip-and-stow storage, 90° power-folding, and independent 180° recline into a flat bed. Front seats include 50W air-cooled wireless fast charging, a Nappa leather four-way power-adjustable steering wheel, and 10-point SPA-grade massage functions. The interior also features a 34.3-inch floating table, 43 storage compartments throughout the cabin, a trunk capacity of 706 liters (expandable up to 2,890 liters), a 23-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system, automotive-grade Senye Oxygen Cabin air purification, an electrically operated temperature-controlled refrigerator, welcome footwell lighting, 606 mm extra-long grab handles, and power-operated door open/close buttons.
