The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) disclosed that Toyota is recalling a total of 20,991 electric vehicles, including the 2026 Toyota bZ, Lexus RZ, and Subaru Solterra. The recall is due to a potential malfunction in the electronic control unit that manages the high-voltage battery, which could result in a loss of vehicle power.
