Lamborghini will globally debut the mid-cycle refresh of the Urus Performante on July 1. The updated model will feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain combining a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an integrated electric motor, paired with a 25.9 kWh battery pack. Total system output is expected to exceed 800 horsepower. To offset the additional weight from the battery, extensive use of carbon fiber has been implemented throughout the vehicle—including the roof, front and rear bumper trim, aerodynamic ducting components, and a dual-layer active rear spoiler. Exterior updates include a revised front fascia with a newly designed grille, larger air intakes, and repositioned daytime running light strips. At the rear, the signature upper carbon-fiber spoiler is retained, complemented by a newly added central diffuser wing. The taillights feature an optimized internal lighting structure, flanked by faux heat-extraction vents. A new rear diffuser and a high-performance exhaust system complete the aggressive rear-end design. As the top-performance variant of the Urus lineup, this update marks Lamborghini’s full transition toward electrification for this model.
