On June 24, 2024, Tesla launched the "2026 Free Supercharging Challenge" overseas, aiming to select nine vehicle owners globally and grant them lifetime free Supercharging privileges. The competition is divided into three regions: North/South America, Asia-Pacific/Oceania (excluding China), and Europe/Middle East/Africa, with three winners chosen from each region. Participants can enter the contest through one of three methods: 1. Within 24 hours after completing a Supercharging session, drive to a Supercharger station they have never visited before and complete another charge. Each time they reach a new station, the 24-hour timer resets. 2. Without the 24-hour time constraint, participants may visit as many different Supercharger stations as possible at their own pace. 3. Based on total energy charged (measured in kilowatt-hours), encouraging participants to maximize their usage of Superchargers. Eligibility excludes owners who already enjoy lifetime free Supercharging, those using their vehicles for ride-hailing or delivery services, and Tesla employees. Official winners will be determined based on charging data collected between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026, with awards taking effect starting January 1, 2027.
