All Seres Aito Models Equipped with CATL Batteries, Upholding Premium Supply Chain Standards

At a recent shareholders' meeting, Seres reaffirmed the premium positioning of its Aito brand, unveiling the "Five High Standards": high safety, high reliability, high performance, high quality, and high value. Chairman Zhang Xinghai stated that CATL batteries, as a core component of the premium supply chain, stand alongside Huawei's Qiankun intelligent driving and cockpit systems as key supporting resources validated by the premium market. He emphasized that while the company maintains an open and trustworthy approach to supplier collaboration, all suppliers must meet the quality requirements for premium vehicles and pass validation in the premium market—a standard that will not be compromised. In response to investor concerns regarding potential new suppliers joining Aito’s supply chain, Zhang clearly articulated three unchanging commitments: the commitment to building premium vehicles based on the Five High Standards remains unchanged; the principle of collaborating with industry-leading premium suppliers remains unchanged; and the strategic partnership agreements with Huawei and CATL remain unchanged. Currently, all Aito models are equipped with CATL batteries, with cumulative deliveries reaching 1.11 million units and zero incidents of spontaneous combustion reported. Additionally, CATL has deployed two CTP 2.0 premium battery pack production lines within Seres’ Super Factory—marking its first manufacturing base in Chongqing and the first implementation of an innovative “factory-within-a-factory” model—to provide localized power battery systems for the Aito vehicle series.
