On June 26, GAC Group launched the Qijing GT7, a mid-to-large intelligent shooting brake vehicle, available in five configurations priced between RMB 209,900 and RMB 329,900. Co-developed by GAC and Huawei’s Qiankun, the vehicle integrates six of Huawei’s automotive intelligent solutions. The Qijing GT7 features an 800V high-voltage architecture and offers both single-motor and tri-motor powertrain options. The tri-motor all-wheel-drive variant achieves a 0–100 km/h acceleration time as fast as 2.98 seconds and is equipped with a closed-loop dual-chamber air suspension system. It uses a next-generation Qilin battery co-customized by Huawei, CATL, and Qijing, available in two capacities—86.111 kWh and 102.768 kWh—delivering a maximum CLTC range of up to 900 km and supporting 6C ultra-fast charging. In terms of design, the Qijing GT7 adopts a shooting brake fastback silhouette, featuring Huawei’s XPIXEL million-pixel intelligent projection headlights at the front and “Qijing Wings” full-width LED taillights at the rear. The vehicle measures 5,050 mm long, 1,980 mm wide, and 1,470 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm and a drag coefficient of just 0.23. For intelligent driving, the Qijing GT7 is equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5.0, with hardware pre-installed for L3-level autonomous driving capability. It includes advanced sensors such as an 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR and has already received approval for L3-level autonomous driving road testing in Guangzhou. The cabin features an enveloping layout, highlighted by a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen and an 88-inch AR-enhanced head-up display. The front seats are dual zero-gravity seats, while the rear seats can be folded flat with a single button. The trunk offers 647 liters of cargo space, expandable to 1,606 liters when the rear seats are folded down.
