On June 26, Jetour Auto unveiled two new models: the Freedom 7 PLUS and the all-new Shanhai T1 AWD variant. Both vehicles emphasize three core features: “Super Off-Road Capability, Super Safety, and Super Intelligence.” The Freedom 7 PLUS starts at a super trade-in price of RMB 89,900, with a limited-time refresh price ranging from RMB 119,900 to RMB 134,900. The Shanhai T1 AWD version is priced between RMB 149,900 and RMB 179,900 during the same promotional period. Both models are equipped with the Eagle 500 advanced intelligent driving system, featuring multiple radars and cameras, supporting functions such as NOA highway navigation assist, APA automatic parking, and AEB 360° protection. The intelligent cockpit runs on the TOUROS 3.2 system powered by the Snapdragon 8255 chip and 5G connectivity, paired with a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen. In terms of powertrain, the Freedom 7 PLUS is powered by a 2.0TD Kunpeng engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering a maximum output of 187 kW and peak torque of 390 N·m. The Shanhai T1 AWD variant adopts a P1+P3+P4 triple-motor architecture, achieving a system maximum output of 455 kW and peak torque of 875 N·m, with full-time AWD functionality maintained in both fully charged and depleted battery states. Both models feature identical approach and departure angles of 28°, with minimum ground clearances of 200 mm (Freedom 7 PLUS) and 190 mm (Shanhai T1 AWD), and a wading depth of 700 mm. Their bodies utilize a cage-like structure with over 80% high-strength steel content and come with a lifetime warranty on the entire vehicle. Interior highlights include Shuyun comfort seats, with the driver’s seat offering 10-way adjustability and the front passenger seat featuring an 80° electric leg rest. An audio system with 14 speakers branded as “Bo Ya Sound” is standard, complemented by 26 sound-absorbing and noise-insulating materials throughout the cabin. Both vehicles share identical dimensions of 4,796 mm (length) × 1,967 mm (width) × 1,840 mm (height), with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm. When the rear seats are folded completely flat, they create approximately 2 meters of continuous cargo space, and the cabin offers 45 storage compartments in total. As of the launch date, Jetour has achieved cumulative global sales of 2.39 million units, including over 700,000 units of its boxy-style (“square-box”) models.
