On June 29, Lingen Auto, a new brand under BYD, announced the official launch of its flagship MPV, the Lingen M9, with a starting price of RMB 188,800. Official detailed specifications for the model have not yet been released, and the company’s official website has not updated related content. According to vehicle registration data, the Lingen M9 measures approximately 5,200 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,805 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,045 mm and a top speed of 190 km/h. It features electric sliding side doors. Powering the vehicle is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (model code BYD472ZQB) delivering a maximum output of 115 kW, paired with a 36.628 kWh battery pack that enables a pure electric driving range of 160 kilometers. Positioned specifically for the mobility market, Lingen Auto plans to integrate advanced technologies into its future models, including BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, an eight-in-one electric drive system, and a wide-temperature-range high-efficiency heat pump air conditioning system. The vehicles will also be equipped with the "God’s Eye" advanced driver-assistance system and the Cloud Ride intelligent body control system.
