Tesla Claims Model 3 Saves $28,000 Over 10 Years vs. Magotan, $98,000 vs. Mercedes C-Class

Tesla recently announced through official channels that, over a ten-year ownership period, the Model 3 can save approximately RMB 20,000 compared to a Volkswagen Magotan priced around RMB 150,000, and about RMB 70,000 compared to a similarly sized Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Additionally, according to multiple third-party data sources, the Model 3 has consistently ranked as the world’s best-selling all-electric sedan from 2018 through the first quarter of 2025.
