On the afternoon of June 29, the Shanghai Special Task Force for Coordinated Regulation of Ride-Hailing Services, led by relevant authorities, convened a citywide centralized compliance governance meeting with major ride-hailing and aggregator platform companies. Representatives from departments including transportation, public security, market regulation, human resources and social security, data management, and communications administration attended the meeting. Twenty-four ride-hailing and aggregator platforms sent their senior executives. In response to issues identified during recent inspections, the meeting issued five key compliance requirements: 1. Strictly standardize vehicle and driver access management, comprehensively remove non-compliant vehicles and drivers, and strictly prohibit assigning orders in violation of regulations; 2. Establish a regular self-inspection mechanism for operational data to ensure complete, timely, and standardized data reporting; 3. Implement full-chain safety management, strengthening dynamic verification of driver and vehicle qualifications; 4. Standardize fare disclosure mechanisms to ensure clear pricing and transparent charges, safeguarding the rights of both drivers and passengers; 5. Enhance cybersecurity operations and maintenance, complete cybersecurity classification protection assessments on schedule, and promptly address system security vulnerabilities.
