Horizon has launched the HSDV2.0, a full-scenario advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) based on world models and end-to-end reinforcement learning technology. Starting June 30, HSDV2.0 will be rolled out via OTA updates in phases to owners of the iCAR V27—the first mass-produced vehicle equipped with this system. This upgrade encompasses six key dimensions: model performance, user experience, driving, parking, safety, and Surround Rendering (SR), introducing 18 new features and 25 experience enhancements, though specific details of the update have not yet been disclosed. In terms of system performance, the hands-off mileage has increased by 56%, negotiation capability by 167%, and response speed by 20%. Additionally, the Occupancy Network (OCC), originally used for Navigation on Autopilot (NOA), has now been extended to active safety functions such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Automatic Emergency Steering (AES), and Advanced Mapping (AMAP). Leveraging a unified foundational model, the system no longer relies on traditional "whitelist"-based recognition logic, significantly enhancing its ability to perceive risks from irregular obstacles and make decisions accordingly. Rollout schedules and feature specifics for other partner vehicle models will be determined according to individual automakers’ official announcements.
