Ford Motor Company is recalling 741,195 vehicles in the United States, including the 2018–2021 Lincoln Navigator, 2018–2021 Ford Expedition, 2020–2021 Ford Explorer, 2020–2021 Lincoln Aviator, and 2021 Ford F-150 pickup trucks. The recall stems from a risk that the transmission parking pawl may inadvertently engage while the vehicle is in motion, potentially damaging the parking system and causing the vehicle to roll away when parked, which could lead to a crash.
