On June 26, 2026, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) published a design patent titled "Automotive Headliner," granted to Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. The listed designers include Yu Chengdong, Wu Guoping, Yang Zimo, Yu Qingquan, Sun Bin, and Mi Zekun. The patented product is intended for installation on the roof of a vehicle and integrates the headliner with a built-in projection screen storage structure to enhance interior space utilization. Patent drawings show that the screen can be retracted into the headliner. Additionally, the Harmony Intelligent Mobility official website showcases the all-new Aito M9 model featuring a similar design, supporting projection onto screens mounted at the front of the vehicle, in the second-row headliner area, and externally on the trunk—the second-row screen being located within the headliner region.
