On June 30, Fiat unveiled the Multiplina, a four-seater all-electric city car that serves as a modern reinterpretation of the 1956 600 Multipla. Designed with retro styling cues, the Multiplina features a front-end design where the bumper forms a "smiling" shape, a clean and rounded body profile, downward-folding windows, and a foldable fabric roof. The interior offers seating for four, emphasizing efficient use of space. In terms of performance, the Multiplina has a top speed of 89 km/h and is powered by a battery with a capacity exceeding 5.4 kWh. Its electric motor delivers more power than Fiat’s other entry-level EV, the Topolino, which produces just 8 horsepower. Priced from approximately £14,000, the Multiplina slots between the £9,000 Topolino and the £19,000 Fiat 500. Its main competitors include the Dacia Spring and the Leapmotor T03.
