Changan Qiyuan delivered 37,242 new vehicles in June, with its AQ series surging 79.3% year-over-year, becoming the primary driver of the brand’s growth. From January to June this year, Changan Qiyuan has cumulatively delivered 173,822 vehicles, maintaining a steady upward trajectory overall. The AQ series spans sedans and mainstream SUVs, targeting the RMB 100,000-level family-oriented new energy vehicle market and meeting diverse needs such as daily commuting and long-distance travel, thereby continuously boosting terminal sales. Amid intensifying competition in the new energy vehicle market—where most automakers rely on price cuts to gain market share—Changan Qiyuan has refrained from aggressive volume-chasing tactics. Instead, it has achieved organic growth through a mature product portfolio and strong word-of-mouth for its core models, demonstrating notable resilience against market volatility. Additionally, certain Qiyuan models have begun expanding overseas, initially entering Southeast Asian markets and leveraging domestic sales momentum as a foundation for global expansion. According to the brand’s roadmap, Changan Qiyuan will launch multiple new models in the second half of the year to further enrich its product lineup and fill gaps in key segments. It plans to channel new orders through its existing sales network and user base, solidifying its position among state-owned enterprise-backed new energy brands.
