GAC Group June Sales Hit 144,900 Units; GAC Honda Down 53% YoY

GAC Group reported vehicle production of 145,406 units in June 2026, down 5.13% year-over-year, and sales of 144,866 units, down 3.47% year-over-year. For the first half of 2026 (January–June), cumulative production totaled 796,778 units, a slight decline of 0.61% year-over-year, while cumulative sales reached 773,085 units, up 2.35% year-over-year. By brand, GAC Honda sold 14,099 vehicles in June, a sharp drop of 53.03% year-over-year, bringing its year-to-date sales to 68,318 units, down 55.82% year-over-year. GAC Toyota sold 64,400 units in June, down 9.39% year-over-year, with cumulative sales of 356,000 units for the year, up 3.29% year-over-year. GAC Trumpchi sold 27,945 units in June, down 3.08% year-over-year, and recorded cumulative sales of 164,373 units, an increase of 12.36% year-over-year. GAC Aion achieved June sales of 37,489 units, surging 88.52% year-over-year, with year-to-date sales of 181,579 units, up 67.08% year-over-year. GAC Lingcheng sold 933 units in June, soaring 248.13% year-over-year, and posted cumulative sales of 2,815 units for the year, up 176.79% year-over-year. On June 28, GAC Group celebrated its 29th anniversary and plans to hold a customer appreciation event on July 16 to mark the milestone of producing and selling 30 million vehicles. Originally headquartered in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, the company relocated its headquarters entirely to Panyu Auto City in November 2024.
