In response to recent rumors about a leadership change at the Chinese joint venture FAW Audi, an insider from FAW Audi denied the reports on July 2 as unfounded. Guo Yongfeng currently remains Executive Vice General Manager of FAW Audi Sales Co., Ltd., overseeing all aspects of FAW Audi’s operations in China, including sales and after-sales service for both locally produced and imported vehicles, network development, and brand marketing. Public records show that Guo Yongfeng assumed this role on September 1, 2025, succeeding Li Fenggang, who was subsequently appointed Party Secretary and General Manager of FAW Fuhua Ecology Co., Ltd. Guo graduated from the School of Digital Sciences at Jilin University with a major in Information and Computational Sciences. He joined FAW-Volkswagen in 2004 and has held a series of key positions, including Director of the Management Services Department at FAW-Volkswagen; Vice General Manager (acting) of FAW Group’s Digitalization Department (Office of Informatization and Digitalization) and Chairman and Party Secretary of Qiming Information Technology Co., Ltd.; Vice General Manager of FAW-Volkswagen and General Manager and Party Secretary of FAW-Volkswagen Sales Co., Ltd.; and most recently, Party Secretary and General Manager of FAW Fuhua Ecology Co., Ltd.
