On July 3, Yijing Auto unveiled its standardized safety architecture, "Tianqiong Zhi Dun," which deeply integrates with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system to establish a closed-loop safety framework encompassing six dimensions: intelligent driving safety, active safety, passive safety, battery safety, rescue safety, and health safety. In terms of intelligent driving safety, the architecture leverages Huawei’s Qiankun ADS system, validated through over 12 billion kilometers of real-world testing. For active safety, it employs the CAS 5.0 six-dimensional collision-avoidance system. Passive safety features ultra-high-strength steel rated at 2,400 MPa, with aluminum alloys and high-strength steel accounting for more than 92% of the vehicle’s body structure. The Yijing X9 is equipped with a 2,300 MPa ultra-high-strength steel door ring and A-pillars integrated with 2,300 MPa hot-formed tubular anti-collision beams. In a “jackhammer drill challenge” test, the 2,400 MPa ultra-high-strength steel plates exhibited virtually no deformation after enduring high-intensity impacts. For battery safety, the vehicle adopts an industry-first triple-layer bulletproof-grade protective armor. The battery cells are fully wrapped in aerospace-grade aerogel thermal insulation material to prevent thermal runaway and propagation. External protection includes dedicated anti-collision beams and aluminum alloy sill beams, while the three-layer underbody armor offers impact resistance more than three times higher than national standards. Additionally, a supercapacitor is strategically positioned in the safest central area of the vehicle body. Even if the auxiliary battery fails due to a collision, this redundant power source ensures that the doors can still unlock and the door handles remain functional.
