Deepal S05 Global Sales Hit 18,369 in June, Surpassing 240,000 Cumulative Units as Overseas Expansion Accelerates

In June 2026, Deepal Auto released sales data showing global deliveries of 33,625 units for the month, marking the fourth consecutive month with monthly sales exceeding 30,000 units. Of this total, the Deepal S05 achieved global sales of 18,369 units, a year-over-year increase of 78.86%. Since its launch, the S05 has consistently sold over 10,000 units per month, accumulating more than 240,000 units in total sales. It ranked as the best-selling compact SUV for three consecutive months from March to May 2026. The official manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of the Deepal S05 ranges from RMB 119,900 to RMB 149,900. It offers two battery options—56.1 kWh and 68.8 kWh—with a maximum CLTC range of up to 620 km. All variants come standard with CATL battery cells and "Jinzhongzhao" battery packs, featuring 3C ultra-fast charging technology that can recharge the battery from 30% to 80% SOC in under 15 minutes, achieving a charge-discharge conversion efficiency of 95%. The vehicle also incorporates micro-core high-frequency pulse heating technology, enabling the battery temperature to rise by 20°C within minutes even at -30°C, reducing charging time by 15% and boosting power performance by 50%. Powering the Deepal S05 is the "Yuanli Ultra-Integrated Electric Drive" system, delivering an operating efficiency of 92.3%. It features an X-PIN waterfall oil-cooled motor, 0.2mm ultra-thin silicon steel laminations, and a "VVV" topological rotor structure. The body utilizes CTV (Cell-to-Vehicle) cell-integrated technology combined with 7,700-ton mega die-casting equipment and monobloc aluminum casting processes, resulting in a torsional rigidity of 35,000 N·m/deg. High-strength materials account for 78% of the body structure, with the highest-grade steel reaching a tensile strength of 1,700 MPa. Measuring 4,620 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, and 1,600 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,880 mm, the S05 achieves a cabin space utilization ratio of 66% based on vehicle length and 74.4% based on height. Rear legroom measures 964 mm. The BEV variant offers a 159-liter front trunk and a dual-layer rear cargo area totaling 492 liters, along with 35 storage compartments throughout the cabin. The Deepal S05 is now available in over 70 countries and regions, including Oman, Singapore, and across Europe. It won the prestigious German iF Design Award in 2025 and, in 2026, was named the top compact pure-electric SUV in J.D.
