On July 3, XPeng Motors and eHi Car Services announced a comprehensive strategic partnership and held a vehicle delivery ceremony. He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPeng Inc., and Yu Hongfei, Chairman of eHi Car Services, attended the event, jointly signed the cooperation agreement, and completed the delivery of 1,300 new energy vehicles. The delivered models include the XPeng MONA M03, P7+, and X9, which will be progressively deployed across key tourist cities and major transportation hubs nationwide. Gao Dewu, CEO of eHi Car Services, stated that the car rental industry is shifting from scale-based competition to competition centered on intelligent user experiences, with growing customer demand for features such as intelligent driver assistance and smart cabins. eHi chose XPeng due to its leading edge in intelligent technologies, which aligns with eHi’s strategic direction of upgrading its fleet toward new energy, intelligence, and enhanced quality. eHi plans to procure an additional 5,000 XPeng vehicles within the next year. The two companies will also continue exploring collaboration in areas such as co-building intelligent mobility scenarios, charging services, and joint branding initiatives to advance the practical application of smart vehicles in the car rental sector.
