NetEase Cloud Music and BYD Launch In-Car "AI Daily" on Seagull 08

NetEase Cloud Music has partnered with BYD on in-car long-form audio, jointly launching the "AI Daily" in-car application, which debuted on BYD’s all-new Seagull 08 and will gradually roll out across BYD’s entire vehicle lineup via OTA updates. The "AI Daily" features three core functions: 1. A personalized daily briefing called "Daily Deep Dive," allowing users to customize content based on their interests and listening habits; 2. A conversational podcast series hosted by AI presenters "Da Bin x Xiao Yun," releasing a new 10-minute episode daily that breaks down a trending topic; 3. An AI-powered news radio offering 24/7 rolling updates on real-time hot topics, optimized for various driving scenarios. The Seagull 08 officially launched on July 2, available in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric (BEV) variants, with a starting price of RMB 196,900. Standard features include flash charging capability, and buyers receive 12 months of complimentary flash charging privileges. Additionally, BYD provides comprehensive safety and loss coverage for urban navigation and intelligent parking scenarios within the first year of ownership. The vehicle measures 5,150 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm. Its C-pillar adopts an unobstructed design to enhance outward visibility. The PHEV variant delivers a CLTC-rated pure-electric range of 400 km and a combined range of 1,660 km, while the BEV version achieves a CLTC range of up to 905 km. Key technologies include flash charging, rear-wheel steering, second-generation Blade Battery, and the Yun辇-A closed dual-chamber air suspension system.
