2027 Chery Exeed ES Launches July 12 with Range-Extended and BEV Options, Starting at ¥189,900

The 2027 Chery Exeed ES will officially launch on July 12. Pre-sales began on June 12, offering three variants with a pre-sale price range of RMB 189,900 to RMB 219,900: the Range-Extended 302 Max LiDAR Edition (RMB 189,900), the Range-Extended 255 Ultra AWD LiDAR Edition (RMB 209,900), and the BEV 860 Max LiDAR Edition (RMB 219,900). The new model introduces two new exterior colors—Warm Cloud Apricot and Starlight Silver—and two interior color schemes—Rosy Glow and Elegant Gray. It measures 4,945 mm in length, 1,978 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The vehicle features the Feiyu Chassis 2.0 system, equipped with an advanced double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link independent rear suspension, delivering a 50% improvement in lateral support performance. All variants come standard with an Orin-Y chip and LiDAR, along with 27 high-precision perception sensors. The steering system utilizes an R-EPS precision steering setup, which costs 40% more than a C-EPS system, offers 30% higher torque output, achieves steering assist accuracy of ±0.5°, responds in just 0.08 seconds, and operates at a remarkably low noise level of only 45 decibels. The range-extended versions are powered by Chery’s “Golden Range Extender” system, featuring a 1.5T range extender with a thermal efficiency of 45.79%, capable of generating 3.71 kWh of electricity per liter of fuel. Under WLTC conditions, the fuel consumption in depleted-battery mode is 5.1 L/100 km. The AWD range-extended variant delivers a maximum output of 345 kW and peak torque of 634 N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The battery-electric version is equipped with a 100 kWh CATL ternary lithium battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 860 km and an energy consumption of 12.4 kWh per 100 km. It supports an 800V high-voltage fast-charging platform, enabling the battery state of charge to increase from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes.
