The all-new locally produced BMW iX3 Long Wheelbase Edition has recently launched offline displays at multiple BMW 4S dealerships in Beijing. The initial batch of participating stores collectively attracted approximately 300 groups of customers for on-site evaluations and has already secured nearly 100 preliminary orders, achieving an in-store conversion rate of nearly 30%. Among customers who expressed clear purchase intent, over 50% are existing BMW owners, around 70% are male, and the average age is approximately 40. The vehicle is equipped with a 108 kWh large cylindrical battery, delivering a CLTC-rated range exceeding 900 kilometers. It features an 800V high-voltage architecture, enabling a 10-minute charge to add approximately 400 kilometers of range, and charging from 10% to 80% takes about 21 minutes. The wheelbase is extended by 108 mm compared to the standard version, with all additional length dedicated to enhancing rear passenger space. It also features China-specific, extra-thickened seats. The intelligent driving system was co-developed by BMW and Momenta and customized specifically for Chinese road conditions.
