The People's Government of Hainan Province recently released the "Hainan National Pilot Zone for Ecological Civilization Development Plan (2026–2030): Beautiful Hainan Construction Plan," which clearly states that the province will steadily advance its policy to ban the sale of fuel-powered vehicles by 2030. According to the plan, the proportion of new energy vehicles in the total vehicle fleet across the province will increase from 23.75% in 2025 to 45% by 2030.
