Ferrari has unveiled the limited-edition 12Cilindri Manuale, available exclusively as a two-door coupé and limited to just 1,499 units worldwide. The model features a unique "Manuale by-wire" system—a wire-controlled manual transmission setup—equipped with an open-gate six-speed manual gearbox and a clutch pedal, while also offering the option to switch to a fully automatic mode using an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). When the driver presses the clutch pedal, the system converts mechanical input into digital signals with millimeter-level precision, transmitting them via by-wire technology to the DCT control unit to ensure perfect synchronization between pedal movement and gearshift lever operation. This system employs a dedicated modular design integrating specialized sensors and advanced kinematic mechanisms that accurately replicate the mechanical load characteristics of a true manual gearshift across three phases: synchronization, engagement, and disengagement. Powering the car is a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine producing a maximum output of 830 cv and capable of revving up to 9,500 rpm. Additionally, the vehicle offers a range of exclusive customization options through Ferrari’s Tailor Made personalization program.
