Multiple New Models Unveiled: Lynk & Co 07 GT Pre-Sales, BYD Seagull 08 Launch, XPeng MONA L03 Pre-Orders Open, All-New BMW X5 Debut

This plug-in hybrid estate car will officially launch in July. Also on July 2, XPeng’s MONA L03 opened for pre-orders, with six variants priced from RMB 143,800 to RMB 165,800, scheduled for official launch on July 16. As the first compact SUV in the MONA series, it offers both BEV and extended-range electric (EREV) options. It measures 4,650 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and 1,600 mm tall, with a 2,850 mm wheelbase and a drag coefficient of 0.228. Standard features include a 15.6-inch central display, a 26.8-inch W-HUD, a 20-speaker audio system, a front trunk, and a panoramic glass roof. It is powered by the Turing AI chip (with up to 1,500 TOPS computing power) and XPeng’s second-generation VLA advanced driver-assistance system. The EREV variant offers a CLTC pure-electric range of 315 km and a total combined range of 1,330 km; the BEV version is available in two CLTC range options: 525 km and 625 km. All variants are equipped with DCC variable-damping shock absorbers and an anti-motion-sickness driving mode. On June 30, the fifth-generation BMW X5 made its global debut—the first time a single X5 model line encompasses gasoline, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric powertrains, with a hydrogen fuel-cell variant planned for the future. Overseas markets will see deliveries begin in late November 2026; the plug-in hybrid and all-electric iX5 variants will arrive in early 2027, with locally produced Chinese-market versions expected around the same time.
